A New Building at St. Andrew’s

Elevation of campus with a new worship space (from McKinney Ranch Parkway).

Stretching Out Our Arms of Love

In January 2025, recognizing the blessing of our continued growth in attendance and membership, the Vestry tasked a group of lay leaders called the ‘Vision 20’ committee with developing a plan to meet the future facility needs of our growing congregation. Through discussion with a wide range of lay leaders, staff, and clergy, three primary areas of need rose to the top:

  • A larger worship space

  • A larger and more functional gathering space, both on Sunday mornings and for events

  • More classrooms and meeting spaces in a variety of sizes

These priorities were analyzed within the context of our existing site plans, visits to other churches, and our members’ collective hopes and dreams for this plot of God’s kingdom. The committee worked with 5G Associates, St. Andrew’s original architectural firm, to come up with a conceptual design that addresses our key needs for the future within a budget we believe is attainable.

The time is right for our next chapter. God is calling us to mirror our Lord and stretch out our arms of love, opening them wide here at the corner of McKinney Ranch and Ridge, to welcome and embrace our community with Christ’s love and grace.

There is much more to do and much more to come. For now, please join us in prayer - and in excitement and hope! If you have questions, suggestions, ideas, or anything else, please get in touch with one of the Vision 20 committee members.

A Prayer for Mission

Lord Jesus Christ, it is time for us to stretch out our arms of love on the land that you have given us that more of our community might come within reach of your saving embrace: So clothe us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands in love, may bring those who have lost their way, who do not know you, or who have been hurt by the church to the knowledge and love of you; for the transformation of our world and for the honor of your Name. Amen.

from above

Lord Jesus Christ, you stretched out your arms of love on the hard wood of the cross that everyone might come within the reach of your saving embrace: So clothe us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth our hands in love, may bring those who do not know you to the knowledge and love of you; for the honor of your Name. Amen.
