Sunday Mornings for Children

Children's Sermons

At St. Andrew’s, we’ve organized our worship so that families can be together, while still providing age-appropriate learning experiences. Children (3 yrs +) begin worship in the main service which begins every week with a special Children’s Sermon given just for them by our clergy. Short and relevant, these engaging moments teach the Bible with humor and generosity, bringing a smile to faces of children and adults alike.

Children’s Worship

After the Children’s Sermon, kids (PreK–5th grade) are invited to their own worship experience designed just for them. With songs, prayers, readings, and creeds in a kid-friendly format, they engage in the same rhythms we share in church. Our dedicated volunteers bring the lectionary text to life through games, crafts, experiments, and meaningful discussion. Children return to the main service after the sermon so they can continue worship and receive Holy Communion with their families.

Sacred Playtime

Between the services every Sunday morning, from 10:10-10:50 am, we have Sacred Playtime. It gives our kids the opportunity to foster relationships with one another, build independence, and enjoy their church without the pressure of one structured activity. The activities and games provided will increase their knowledge and comprehension of the lectionary text.

Nursery

Our nursery room is equipped with SafeChurch Certified and trained staff for infants and toddlers up to 3 years old. We pray over them that they will know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference throughout their life.

Our nursery is open during the 9 am and 11 am Sunday services.
