Pastoral Care at St. Andrew’s
At St. Andrew’s, our pastoral care ministry is rooted in Christ’s commandment: “Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another” (John 13:34). As members of the Body of Christ, we are called to put that love into action.
Our clergy and pastoral care team seek to share Christ’s love through prayer, compassion, encouragement, and support. Whether you are experiencing illness, grief, loneliness, a difficult transition, or simply need a listening ear, we are here to offer a caring presence and remind you that you are not alone.
Pastoral Care takes many forms, including:
Visiting parishioners in hospitals, homes, or care facilities.
Reaching out through telephone calls, emails, or personal notes.
Offering prayer and spiritual companionship when needed.
Providing support groups where those caring for loved ones can find encouragement, understanding and mutual support.
Helping homebound parishioners remain connected to the worship and fellowship of St. Andrew’s through Holy Communion brought by Lay Eucharistic Visitors.
