Youth Ministry (SAY)
SAY (St. Andrew’s Youth) is our ministry for students in 6th through 12th grade. SAY exists to help students create meaningful and lasting relationships with God, the church, their families, and each other. It does so through biblical instruction, games, events, and trips, with the explicit goal of creating enduring memories through unique experiences that reinforce biblical truths. SAY is led by our youth minister, Tim Jenkins.
Because St. Andrew’s is “a faith for all ages,” students in SAY are also integral to the larger life of the church. They help in our Hands & Feet and mission work; enrich our worship as acolytes and lay ministers; and assist as counselors at VBS and Bible Builder Camp.
SAY Principles
Youth are active
Youth share
Youth are respected and nurtured

Tim Jenkins | Youth Minister
I love youth ministry. It was in the youth program growing up that I learned to love the church, be serious about my faith, and hear God’s call on my life. Because of that, I’m passionate about walking alongside young people as they grow in faith, ask hard questions, and experience the joy of belonging to the body of Christ.
Tim has worked in youth ministries both big and small since 2004. He also served as a missionary in Guatemala for 2 years. He is an ordained minister in the Independent Christian Church and a postulant in the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, discerning a call to the priesthood. He has an undergraduate degree in Preaching and Biblical Studies from Dallas Christian College and is currently working on a Masters of Divinity with Wycliffe College in Toronto.
