Anytime, Anyplace
Preacher: The Rev. Paulette Magnuson
Scripture: Luke 10:38-42
We often imagine spiritual peace as something distant—quiet, candlelit, carefully carved out. But grace doesn’t wait for ideal conditions. God doesn’t ask you to escape your life to encounter him.
You’re already at his feet.
Whether you’re sorting Legos, answering emails, or just trying to get through the day, the Spirit meets you right where you are. The presence of Christ is not confined to pews or prayers. It fills the room with the chaos. It steadies your breath in the rush. It softens your heart when you weren’t even looking for softness.
There is no threshold you must cross to find Jesus. No perfect silence to achieve before he speaks. He is already here—patient, present, and ready to love you in the middle of your ordinary mess.
And that moment you laugh without meaning to, or look up and feel something settle in your soul—that’s not a distraction from your spiritual life. That is your spiritual life.
The kingdom of God has drawn near. Any time. Any place.
