Rooted in Hope, Growing in Grace

St. Andrew’s Family,

This past Sunday we kicked off our stewardship campaign for 2026 with a call to prayer and a literal tree with a pond set up in the Narthex. Soon you will receive in the mail a brochure laying out the projected budget for the year. This is always an exciting time of the year for me because we are dreaming about the future and what God has in store for the body of Christ in this place.

This year’s stewardship theme, “Planted in Promise,” reminds us that a life rooted in God’s faithfulness will always bear fruit. Jeremiah 17:7–8 paints a beautiful picture of trust: “Blessed are those who trust in the Lord... They shall be like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots by the stream.” When we are planted in God’s promises, we grow, not just in what we give, but in how we live.

As we begin this year’s stewardship season, I want to invite you into a time of prayerful reflection. Over the next few weeks, take time to pray about your intention for giving in 2026. Ask God to help you see how your generosity can be an expression of trust, gratitude, and hope.

Stewardship isn’t just about supporting the church’s budget; it’s about deepening our roots in God’s work. Every gift you give helps nurture ministries that share love, teach faith, and bring hope to our community. When we give prayerfully, we’re saying, “God, I trust that You will continue to provide, and I want to be part of Your ongoing promise.”

Whether you’re new to giving or have been faithfully pledging for years, know that your prayerful discernment matters. God honors the heart that seeks to give in love. So, let’s take this time together to listen, to be still before the Lord, and to ask where He is calling us to grow next.

As we remain planted in His promise, may our roots deepen, our faith strengthen, and our generosity bear good fruit for the year ahead.

Peace and Grace,
Father Logan
