A Generational Moment for St. Andrew's

St. Andrew’s Family,

As we move toward Commitment Sunday, there is a sense that we are standing in the middle of something much bigger than ourselves. Moments like this don’t come around often in the life of a church. They shape not just what we build, but who we become together.

This is a generational moment for St. Andrew’s. Years from now, people will walk into a new worship space and encounter God’s presence in ways we can only begin to imagine today. They will sing, pray, grieve, celebrate, and be transformed just as we have been. And in some quiet but powerful way, this moment will have helped make that possible.

That’s why this week isn’t just about making a commitment. It’s about continuing a conversation with God.

The prayer that we have been given is both simple and powerful: "God, what do you want to do through me?" It’s not a question of pressure or comparison. It’s an invitation to listen. To trust that God is already at work, and that each of us has a part to play in that work.

For some, that prayer may bring clarity quickly. For others, it may unfold more slowly. Either way, the invitation is the same: to come with open hands and a willing heart.

What matters most is that we take this step together. Every prayer, every act of faith, every response matters. This new worship space will not belong to a few; it will be the shared offering of an entire faith community seeking to follow where God is leading.

And that is something truly beautiful.

See you all Sunday!
Father Logan
