Blessings Await This Fall
Dear Friends,
Here we go again! The summer is over (though the heat of summer isn’t), school has started, sports are getting into swing, and soon everyone will fall back into routine. Although this time of year can produce its fair share of headaches and stress, I find that I like the newness of it all. There is an unharnessed energy that flows through the new school year that creates excitement and wonder. I always try and take a moment and to see what God is doing.
Speaking of what God is doing, we have an exciting fall coming together here at St. Andrew’s. Our children’s and youth programs have new energy (be sure to seek out Laura Bray and Tim Jenkins to learn more). Our adult ministries are expanding with our Waymakers ministry and Journey in Faith offerings starting September 7th. It definitely feels like there is some of that unharnessed excitement and wonder floating around here at church. I hope and pray each of you will be involved in these ministries kicking off in September. They will allow each of us the opportunity to build relationships that lead to Christ.
The rest of August is before us with two more weeks of fAIth, Father Andrew’s A.I. sermon series, the last week of Worship Team sign-ups, and lay worship training on August 23rd. The time is coming when we all will settle into a new year filled with all the blessings God has set before us. It’s going to be a great fall.
See you all Sunday!
Peace and Grace,
Father Logan
