Holiday Helping Starts Now

Happy Fall Y’all,

The seasons are changing, and, ready or not, Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner.

On Oct 26th (this Sunday) we will start collecting items for our Burks Thanksgiving Baskets. We hope to provide 40 families with the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal. This drive will run through Nov 14th.

After that time, our Cornerstone group will assemble the baskets and write a heartfelt note to each family. Items needed are posted on the Hands&Feet bulletin board.

And on Nov 2nd, during our 20th Anniversary party, the Angel Tree will be up, and you may adopt an Angel. Gifts need to be returned to the church by Nov 30th.

If you are interested in helping with either the Thanksgiving boxes or the Angel Tree, please reach out. We can always use help.

Our neighbors are finding it increasingly difficult to put food on the table and have not yet begun thinking about Christmas, so let’s help them and walk beside them to make life just a little bit easier for them. Just as Jesus taught us to do!
