Holy Week Is Here—Let’s Journey Together

Dear Friends,

I am so excited about Holy Week at St. Andrew's, which begins Sunday with the Procession of the Palms and the reading of the Passion Gospel. I love how our Holy Week liturgies involve multiple senses and draw us into the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection. They make a strong impression on all of us, young and old, connecting us with traditions passed down over centuries.

If you have children, I encourage your family to attend Walk with Jesus on Sunday at 4 pm, which will feature five interactive stations. Your family will learn about Palm Sunday, the Last Supper, Gethsemane, Good Friday, and the Resurrection. This will be a fun and informative way to prepare the whole family for Holy Week.

Finally, please keep our C.L.I.M.B. program in your prayers tonight. They have been nominated as one of three finalists for the 2025 Education Champion Award, one of the Spirit of Volunteerism awards given by Volunteer McKinney. We thank God for our volunteers at C.L.I.M.B. and for the children they mentor each Thursday afternoon at the Merritt McGowan Apartments.

I look forward to seeing you on Sunday and throughout next week!

In Christ,

Dcn Erica
