Live Nativity This Sunday
Dear Friends,
There are signs all around us that something is coming! Well, let’s be honest, if you have been in a department store at any point since the month of October, you know what I am talking about. However, I personally feel that I fell into the season only a few short weeks ago when we finished greening the church, the BIG Advent candles were set up outside, and especially after our Advent Fellowship Night.
You might have noticed the wooden stable that showed up on the front lawn last week. This means we are getting ready to tell the story of our Lord and Savior’s birth during our Live Nativity. The Live Nativity has become a cherished tradition here at St. Andrew’s and a way that we share the story of the light coming into the world with our community. I hope and pray each of you will attend one, or both, of the performances this Sunday, at 6 pm or 7 pm, and seize the opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors. This is a unique way for participants to grab some hot chocolate, popcorn, and submerse themselves in the Christmas story.
This time of year always builds such anticipation and wonder, pointing us to the light that is to come. See you all Sunday!
Peace and Grace,
Father Logan
